Now, here are five tips I recommend to anyone trying to manage a busy schedule. This is essential if you seeking time managment as an entrepreneurs with a full-time job.
1. Set Clear Priorities for time managment for entrepreneurs with a full-time job
Determine what’s most important each day. Not all tasks need immediate attention, and some can wait. Focus on what aligns with your long-term goals. For example, I create priorities by listing my daily tasks- mentally. I use three categories: urgent, important but not urgent, and can wait. Most times its just instictive- I naturally know what my body and mind can handle and what things needs to be put off till later. Each of us have a way of knowing what things to prioretise.
So, for example if I need to make jewelry for an order, that’s urgent. Planning my next collection is important but not urgent. Cleaning my workspace can wait until the weekend. This method helps me focus, stay productive, and reduce stress while working toward my bigger goals.
2. Time Block Your Schedule
3. Learn to Say No
You can’t do everything, and that’s okay. Declining tasks or commitments that don’t align with your goals frees up time for what truly matters. For example, I have only a few close friends, so saying no sometimes makes me feel guilty. But thankfully, most of them understand—or at least that’s how I feel. The thing is, friends are busy too, and they often appreciate honesty.
Learning to say no helps you stay focused, and it strengthens relationships built on mutual respect. So, don’t be afraid to set boundaries—it’s part of self-care!
4. Delegate or Automate Where Possible
5. Prioritise Self-Care
Why Well-Being Is The Foundation
As a creative entrepreneur using time managment for entrepreneurs with a full-time job, I’ve learned that my well-being directly impacts my work. When I’m rested and grounded, my creativity flourishes. On days when I push too hard, I notice my output suffers. By managing my time wisely and prioritising self-care, I’m able to sustain the passion and energy needed to grow my ventures. Afterall, time managment for entrepreneurs with a full time-job is skills that needs developing.
