Now, my handmade resin art earrings are more than just fashion. In fact, resin jewelry are works of art made with love and care. So, I use small offcuts of Ankara fabric rescued from my stash. Each colorful fabric piece is set inside clear resin to create unique resin art earrings. Instead of wasting fabric, I give it a second life in jewelry form.

Every pair is handmade in Melbourne, Australia. You will find many shapes and styles, from gum leaf designs to oval, shell, and checker board shapes. Some are light and simple. Some are bold and eye-catching. That is the beauty of resin jewelry Australia – no two pairs are ever the same.

How I make resin jewelry without molds

To mkae resin jewelry without molds, I choose UV resin. This because, this type of resin will set faster whilst holding its form perfectly. I use non toxic and odourless resin for craft jewelry making.

Moreover, when I craft jewelry, I tend to use old-style hand techniques like scorching, bending, and shaping. Resin sometimes makes tiny chips or cracks during the curing process. These are not mistakes. They are part of the handmade charm. Each earring carries its own story, with small marks that make it truly one-of-a-kind.

My earrings are made with non-toxic resin, so they are safe and waterproof. Each pair weighs about 10–20 grams. They are light enough for daily wear but strong enough to last. I add French hooks, jump rings, and a bead to finish them off. The average length is around 3–3.5cm with the hook.

This collection is also eco-friendly. By reusing fabric offcuts, I reduce waste and celebrate African-inspired design. Ankara fabric is known for its bold color and pattern. Inside the resin, these prints shine even brighter.
